Our Vision at Grace Christian Education Center is to provide a Faith based, nurturing learning environment that will teach Christian values and enable children to grow academically, spiritually, socially and physically.
Our Mission Statements:
To provide a Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum with a Christian focus to enable children to grow in their knowledge of God
To incorporate STEM Learning Concepts into our curriculum
To employ nurturing, Christian staff to serve as role models
To partner and establish relationships with parents, key personnel of Grace Church, members of Grace Church Congregation, the surrounding communities, and any other stakeholders interested in the education, health, and welfare of the children we serve
Education Philosophy
At Grace Christian Education Center, we will provide a balance of structured, biblical, child-directed, and STEM-focused curriculum. We place high value on teaching children about God, and an emphasis on Christian values is presented throughout our programs. STEM concepts will be incorporated in order to provide children with the opportunity to apply knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. We also recognize the importance of play in early childhood, and children will be encouraged to use their creativity, develop social skills, and participate in hands-on activities in the classrooms. Our Before and After School program will guide students to think, reason, solve conflicts, ask questions, and experiment to build upon what they already know. Our goal and the end of each day is to offer a program that meets both the academic and spiritual needs of every child.
